BAD MOON
RISING! With a little FULL MOON FEVER!!
Greetings!
A club run is being
planned for May 5th. This is a Saturday night run and there will be a
full moon! Night runs are alot of fun and this will be our first full
moon night run. Bring your Creedence and Petty tunes for the maximum
experience.
Also effective
immediately is all participants, drivers AND passengers, will sign run
waivers for every event they particpate in moving forward.
For first timers
and/or non-modded vehicles: Brown's Camp is very newbie-friendly. There
are very, very few trails that stock vehicles cannot navigate
successfully. And at that, we won't be running those trails anyway. If
you are not comfortable running a particular trail, there are always
bypasses. No one harrass you for not running a trail. It is not allowed
and is part of our rules. Anyone harrasing another for not running a
trail can be excluded by the Run Leader.
In addition I would
also like to remind everyone: No alcohol. Smoking ONLY allowed inside
your vehicles with the windows rolled UP. Not hot-dogging or running off
trails. The NWFJCC Runs Lightly
and with respect to the trails that are available to us. No exceptions.
After pre-stagingThe
first trail we will hit will be Hood Raiser. This trail is sponsored by
the NWFJCC and will need soem minor water-bar maintenance. After
spending 60-90 minutes there then it's off into the darkness!
If you are NOT a
member of the club please join now. Being that this is a night run we
will discourage non-members from participating, BUT if you'd like to
show up and join the club at the run, PLEASE DO SO!
